🔥 Mewang (Fire Blessing Ceremony)

One of the festival's most anticipated events, the Mewang is a sacred fire ritual performed at night. Devotees pass beneath a large ceremonial arch of flames, believing the ritual purifies negative karma, removes obstacles, and brings blessings for health, happiness, and prosperity.

🎭 Sacred Cham Dances

Witness traditional masked dances performed by monks and lay dancers depicting Buddhist deities, saints, and protectors. These spiritual performances symbolize the triumph of wisdom over ignorance and are believed to bring merit to all who attend.

🌙 Tercham (Naked Dance)

Performed before dawn by specially selected dancers, the Tercham is a sacred ritual believed to bless the land, promote fertility, and ward off evil spirits. It is one of Bhutan's most unique and ancient ceremonial performances.
